Lambretta Hate

Why would someone choose a Lambretta over a Vespa? Vespas are far superior? Well, perhaps, but if you are a big dude, then you need the extra power that comes with a Lambretta. Let's not kid ourselves here. The Vespa is a sweet contraption, but you sometimes need a little more "gas."

N.A.T.O. Vespa

In the early hours of the Cold War, tanks were in short supply along France's Eastern front, and so someone came up with this little gem of an idea: Mount a giant spit-shooter to a Vespa and call it your first line of defense. It's actually of a fairly big caliber for such a tiny vehicle. This is certainly a must-have for every serious collector.

Couture Vespa?

Wow. Did we really need a Louis Vuitton branded Vespa? Perhaps. But I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.

Hybrid Vespas?

Aren't Vespas already fuel-efficient? That was my understanding, anyway. Well, the maker of the Vespa has introduced not-one-but-two hybrid Vespas that use less gas. Both use the LX 50 as a platform. The cool thing is that you can plug them into a socket. In theory, you could use them at your office as a power source to keep your precious air conditioner running while you work, even if California is doing one of its planned, rolling blackouts. Well, at least in theory. You would need a fleet of them to power up an entire office.

The Wooden Vespa

This is an operational vespa built by a carpenter in Portugal. WANT! Dudes name is Carlos Alberto. Unfortunately, I hear that his orders are back-logged. LOGGED! Get it? Oh, I'm too funny sometimes. He has plans available if you want to build your own.
